Ngati Toa

A team of 8 lead this 25+ unit of Venturers with 4 awesome leaders backing us up, We set crazy activities and things we've always wanted to do, we help out in the community & compete regularly in events against other units - such as our Sailing & Rowing team winning cups and plates predominately due to being a sea scout based unit but many more somewhat crazy events, we are a great team of teenagers between 14.5- 18.5 yrs

While their time here our Venturers participate in a life skills programme and are encouraged and assisted to undertake the Venturer Award Scheme and The Duke Of Edinborough. As a unit we fundraise and set our own programme, seriously ANYTHING - I.e. Caving, tramping, sailing, chocolate nights, movies, skiing,etc... Over 07 hols we took a few girls & guys and tried to find Santa in the Arctic - Listening to your ideas and then putting them into action.

Lower North Island - Picnic, Flugtag & Ngati Toa's Fireworks

All happening on the

Saturday 8th November 2008 from 2PM

Picnic, Flugtag & other activities during the day with Ngati Toa taking over for the Fireworks at around 8PM.

All Happening @ Ngati Toa's Den, Ngati Toa Domain (End of Pascoe Ave, Mana - Just over Paremata Bridge going North on SH1)

  • Overnighters available if traveling or just want to stay, we'll put up a few movies etc
  • Ngati Toa Supplying Lifejackets
  • Bring Lots of Fireworks to add to collection ($20 box/ unit)
