Sorry guys site got hacked & the person deleted everything, some stupid hacker from Turkey cause it had all Turkish flags over the place, anyway site has been reverted to the 2nd March 2008, sorry for any inconvience.
I'll put all the calender & stuff up asap.

Edit now 2 hours later, most fixed, just the calendar & extra forum posts, have updated security more now & everything, admins please note there looks like a problem with the photosubmission with 2 images appearing instead of 1, dw about it it only shows up on the admin section not on the album for the public/member.

Go our cutter that came 1st Equal in the open division & bet our own sunburst... sailed by the scouts.

New Year @ Ngati Toa Venturers

This week we decided to start with a splash and we thought we needed to burn off a few Christmas dinners, especially some of the Euro-trip Vennies who decided to sit down on the plane the full 25 hrs back. So we came up with a plan.

This Wednesday the 13th of February we are to have a race; man vs. machine, one team namely the ?Ngati Toa Venturers? are to use brute force strength to row their way to the destination - Plimerton Beach, while the other team, i.e. the Adult whom may not be named, shall be either speeding along in an inflatable powerboat or shall be driving a car to pick up fuel for the Venturers, namely ? Fish n Chips.

Now this may seem no mean feat but on the beach while still eating we will be asking for the goal for the year, the one (or more) things you hope to gain from coming to Venturers this year.

We will also be running a small talk to our recruits about what Venturing is all about and why we still are a Venturer, the other shall be a mystery ? Aloha 08.

Meeting time on or before 7pm,
Except those whom have the Scout Meeting to attend, where we will leave someone behind, possibly with the huge 12 foot inflatable powerboat with the power of 20 thoroughbred racehorses, powering through the water to catch up with their crew.

Hope to see all the new recruits there, ready for action.
